The victim, 22, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where he died
Two people have been detained following the fatal knifing of a 22 year old man in Wembley.
Metropolitan Police were summoned to High Road in Wembley at approximately 12.55pm on Monday, December 1 following reports of a stabbing incident. The casualty received treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital where he subsequently died.
A 22 year old man was apprehended on suspicion of murder in Harrow on Tuesday, December 2, whilst a 21 year old woman was detained on suspicion of assisting an offender. Metropolitan Police confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
Both suspects remain in police custody.
“While we are not looking for anyone else in relation to this matter, I would encourage those who have not yet spoken to police to come forward as soon as possible,” Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, from the Met’s Homicide Command said, reports the Mirror.
Officers will maintain a heightened presence across several locations following the incident.
“We know this murder has caused shock and concern for residents and our officers are here to support those who live and work in the area. There will be an increased police presence at a number of locations,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams, who leads policing for the area.
