Zoe Harrison v Taylor Perry

The fly-halves are unsung heroes for their sides but will be key to the outcome of the match.

They will be familiar with each other’s game, with Harrison plying her trade for Saracens and Perry now at Exeter Chiefs.

Harrison – who beat Holly Aitchison and Helena Rowland to the Red Roses No10 jersey – has been a steady hand driving her side around the field.

The 24-year-old Perry, who has had terrible luck with knee injuries at previous tournaments, combines incredibly well with club-mate and Canada skipper Alex Tessier in attack.

Whoever can better assert their influence on the game will likely come out victorious in the final.

Maud Muir v DaLeaka Menin

The scrum will be a vital contest on Saturday, with youngster Maud Muir going up against the experienced DaLeaka Menin at prop.

Menin produced an outstanding performance to withstand a massive Black Ferns scrum and play the whole 80 minutes. She was also one of the leading ball carriers for the Maple Leafs with a game-high 12 carries.

The Exeter Chiefs prop will be hoping that those carries get her side over the gain line and let the Canada backs feed on quick ball.

Muir is a cornerstone of the Red Roses scrum and her job will be to wear down Menin for the rampaging Sarah Bern to replace her for the last 30 minutes of the game and wreak havoc.

Muir is also a titan in defence, she made an outstanding 16 tackles in her stint on the pitch in the semi-final against France and her work will be key to slowing the fast Canadian ruck speed.
