The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has been grinding on for nearly four years, but a huge new revelation has been made which points to Chines involvement in fighting

Fears of World War 3 are rising after Ukraine unearthed footage that appears to confirm Chinese operations working with Russia. It comes as Kyiv and Moscow continue their war of attrition as the international community stalls on reaching a peace deal.

Tensions have been increasing on the Russia- Ukraine war front after Russian leader Vladimir Putin shut down any talk of a peace deal after meeting with US President Donald Trump. Things were only made worse when he categorically denied Western troops being stationed in Ukraine as a “security guarantee”.

But now, it appears that a new player has entered the conflict, which grinds on into its fourth year. Ukraine’s military obtained footage that appears to confirm Chinese troops working with Russian forces which — if true — could prove to be a massive escalation of the war.

The Sun reported that CCTV footage captured by a drown shot down by forces loyal to Kyiv found Chinese engineers testing the camera. If the Chinese link is correct and proven, this ultimately draws China into the war, alongside North Korea, with thousands of soldiers being ordered to the frontline.

Dramatic footage appeared to prove that China has been secretly working to build Russian drone fleets that have been used to pound Ukraine day after day. However, Beijing has continuously denied all claims that it working covertly in the course of the Russo-Ukrainian War, despite being suspected of helping the Kremlin.

This footage is the first seemingly-solid proof that Ukrainian technicians have of Chinese complicity in the war. The war drone was examined by Ukrainian forces after bringing it down during one skirmish along the border, only to find videos filmed in China.

Military experts have signalled the videos coming from Chinese engineers testing the equipment on the Beihuan highway in the city of Shenzhen to see what the capabilities of striking targets are there. One of these cameras would eventually be tied to a suicide drone which would cause untold damage to Ukrainian cities.

It was revealed the drone camera fitted was an A40 Pro camera, fitted by ViewPro — a company based in Shenzhen — which uses artificial intelligence to select its targets. With a variety of features including a huge 40x zoom setting, it makes the cameras incredibly useful to the Russian war machine.

Speaking to The Sun, one source within the Ukrainian military said it was “no surprise at all” that China was becoming complicit in Russia’s war against Ukraine. He added: “We know that Chinese tech is much more advanced than Russian tech.

“The question is, are sanctions biting, or is Moscow actively upgrading its drone fleets?” he added. “At the end of the day, China and Russia are not friends.”

He went on to say: “They’re only helping Russia to weaken the influence of the USA and their defence of Taiwan. Xi is an altogether more credible opponent than Putin; he’s a master at playing the long game.”

It comes as Putin recently met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, as well as North Korean leader Kim-jong un for a powerful display of military might last week. Not everyone was happy with the meeting, including Trump who took to social media to vent his frustrations.
