Another huge weekend of wrestling has been promised at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.

The 39th annual edition of Survivor Series – the second longest-running premium live event (PLE) in WWE history behind only WrestleMania – will be held at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

This year’s event will once again feature two WarGames matches for the men and the women where the teams are confined within a steel cage enclosing two adjacent rings.

On the men’s side, Roman Reigns joins forces with Jimmy and Jey (The Usos), undisputed WWE champion and World Heavyweight champion CM Punk to take on Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed – a powerful team assembled by Paul Heyman.

For the women, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley will put their differences aside for one night only to join Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky and AJ Lee in battle against Nia Jax, Lash Legend – making her main roster PLE debut – Becky Lynch and the WWE women’s tag team champions Asuka and Kairi Sane.

Elsewhere on the card, Nikki Bella challenges Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s world championship in a rivalry that has become very personal.

The other championship match sees John Cena – on his retirement tour – puts the WWE Intercontinental title on the line in a rematch against Dominik Mysterio.

Can Dominik Mysterio regain the WWE Intercontinental championship in his hometown?

WWE

On the November 10 episode of WWE Raw, Cena was addressing his hometown of Boston before being interrupted by Mysterio who was then ordered to face the legend for the aforementioned championship.

Cena subsequently defeated Mysterio to win the Intercontinental title for the first time in his career thus, in the process, becoming a grand slam champion in WWE.

However, Mysterio has demanded the rematch takes place in his hometown as he bids to dethrone Cena on what will be his final in-ring showing at a Survivor Series PLE.
