Your Party will attempt to draw a line under months of bitter infighting and organisational chaos as it gathers for its first political conference this weekend.
Its 13,000 members will debate and amend its founding documents in person and decide on a leadership structure across the two-day event.
An official name for the party will also finally be revealed, with members voting on a moniker due to be announced by Corbyn on Sunday.
Here’s a rundown of what’s happened in the party during its first five months:

In a social media statement, the Coventry MP said she and the former Labour leader would co-lead the outfit and that other independent MPs, campaigners and activists from across the UK would join them.
She urged people to sign up at www.yourparty.uk.
But Corbyn appeared to have been blindsided by the announcement, replying with a statement hours later saying that discussions were still “ongoing”.
By the end of the month, the Islington North MP was onboard and the pair officially announced the venture saying it was “time for a new political party”.
However, the group still had no official name, with Sultana saying it would be voted on by members at the party’s first conference.

In mid-September 2025, Sultana launched a paid membership portal on behalf of the party with emails being sent out to those who had signed up.
But other founders accused her of doing so without proper authorisation.
There was a public backlash from the other MPs involved, who condemned the email as “unauthorised”.
But 20,000 people had already signed up and made a reported £800,000 of donations through a portal operated by MOU Operations Ltd.
Corbyn urged supporters to cancel the payments and referred the matter to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The clash exposed a bitter feud at the top of the fledgling party and insiders said there was a “complete lack of trust” between the co-leaders.
At the centre of the dispute over the membership portal was the control over finances and member data.
Sultana had arranged for MOU Operations Ltd to hold the money raised from members.
Corbyn and others alleged serious mis-management of the donations and member data.
But she later dropped the legal action as she acknowledged people felt “demoralised” by the row.

Infighting and resignations
Earlier this month, one founding MP, Adnan Hussain, quit the party.
The MP for Blackburn condemned “persistent infighting, factional competition, and a struggle for power, position and influence” and cited concerns about “veiled prejudice” against Muslims.
Within days, MP Iqbal Mohamed also quit, saying “false allegations and smears” had been made against him and other members.
Mohamed said in a statement that he had decided to leave Your Party and continue to serve his Dewsbury and Batley constituency as an Independent MP.
Hussain and Sultana had clashed over trans rights policy.
In September, he had posted on social media that “women’s rights and safe spaces should not be encroached upon” and “safe third spaces should be an alternative option”.
He added that trans women are “not biologically women, hence trans women”.
But the comments irked progressive members of Your Party.
Sultana supported them, saying it was the party’s job to speak up for the “most marginalised voices” in society and that included trans people.
She posted on social media: “Trans rights are human rights. Your Party will defend them – no ifs, no buts.”
